Bloomberg Connects makes it easy to explore art and culture at your own pace and on your own schedule. The Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró in Mallorca becomes the first institution in the Balearic Islands, among more than 750 cultural institutions worldwide, to join this free application.

The Fundació Miró Mallorca has become the first cultural institution in the Balearic Islands to be featured on the free digital app Bloomberg Connects with its own dedicated channel. Through this app, users and visitors can access dozens of hours of added-value content, including audio, video, and text, which enhance the exploration of the museum, its spaces, and its programming.

Bloomberg Connects is an art and culture app created by American entrepreneur and politician Michael Bloomberg through his Bloomberg Philanthropies foundation. The app provides free digital guides to 750 cultural institutions worldwide. It can be downloaded completely free of charge and used offline once the content has been downloaded.

With this initiative, the Fundació Miró Mallorca will offer the public content from unique and diverse perspectives, including exclusive expert commentary, podcasts, behind-the-scenes stories, and anecdotes about Joan Miró and his works. Beyond offering unique content and guides, the app also includes tools to enhance the on-site experience for the nearly 80,000 visitors who come to the Fundació each year.
